Has anybody looked into this Decred? (https://www.decred.org/) What are your thoughts? It could be the new bitcoin craze.

It's just another altcoin.
Some websites have mistakenly taken "A Digital Currency by Bitcoin Developers" to mean Bitcoin's core developers, but this is not the case - it's a bunch of developers who attempted to reimplement Bitcoin in Google's open source programming language Go and are now attempting to create their own digital currency.
And apologies, I don't mean to derail your airdrop participation attempt.
