How to squeeze the most out of your Virgin Mobile Contract

Hey all,
After some bargaining with Virgin Mobile, I have been able come to a conclusion. If you're locked into a 24 month contract, you may still be able to change to better plans within Virgin Mobile.

Find a SIM ONLY plan on Virgin Mobile at the same Price Point as your plan, and go on Virgin Mobile's online chat and ask them whether you can change it. Although some Reps say no, just keep trying. You'll essentially squeeze more value out for your dollar.

EG: $70 iPhone 6S 16gb is $40 plan + $30 Handset repayment. This $40 plan includes 1GB of Data with unlimited calls and SMS.
If you ask them to change it out for the current $40 SIM Only plan, this plan includes 7GB of data, Unlimited calls + SMS & $300 international calls & SMS.

    So this is something you have actually done yourself? I'm on a $40 plan atm with them.

      I've done it, your mileage may vary depending on the rep you talk to but generally they're happy to do it at the same price point
      It is possible, just tell them that you'll rather be on the $40 sim only with handset repayment
