if you like dominos pizza and you are member of velocity and you have nab gold velocity card. then this the tips
buy dominos pizza online, use the coupon that available from ozbargain. i believe the average price now around $5.5 - $5.95 for pick up.
order your dominos pizza online at http://www.shopandearn.com.au/ (remember you need to be velocity member) then use the coupon, let said you purchase with $5.95, then pay using the nab amex velocity card.
on amex velocity card, every $1 you will get 1 point, so for $5.95, just assume you get 6 points (you might shop from supermarket to make up that 5 cent different someday/somewhere). And with http://www.shopandearn.com.au/ promotion, every order you get 25 points. so if you order 2 pizza, don't order one go, but order in a separate order.
in this case on every $6/order, you get 6 pts from velocity cc and 25 points from the promotion which is total 31 points per order.
so every $1 that you spend you get 5.167 pts, which is higher than average cc that normally you only get 1 point/$1
Good scheme with the Dominos.
How bout just buying a bunch of Coles Myer or Woolworth gift cards to fill the miles gap. At least with supermarket cards, its something that you are going to need to use in the future.
