  • me too, looking to get NUC to replace my old core duo all in one- pc

  • I spent all of November trying to get the best deal for this. I looked at the new range and chose the Haswell NUC with 8 Gb ram and 240Gb SSD, and planned to build it over christmas for Kodi. However I then toyed with the idea of a Hackingtosh which seemed to be possible, and so it's all sitting its original wrapping; and christmas has passed.

$285 NUC5PPYH (N3700 Quad core has almost the same CPU power as the previously i3 model)
    $60 8Gb Ram Kingston
    $115 240Gb Sandisk SSD

Send me a a PM if anyone wants to buy this kit for $400 (still has 3 yr warranty)

Pickup from Canberra or $10 freight…

    • Wasnt planning to spend that much.

i.e. the model down at under $200 is fine for kodi…plus no need for an SSD…not one that big or $$ anyway.

    • If that still negotiable I may be interested…

  • Noise36 If you want to use the NUC for kodi, then the cheaper model is fine. However paying a little more for N3700 made sense to me as it could also be used for W10 or OSX. I have tried using the cheaper CPU for windows machine and they suck big time. I have an 8Gb SSD which for kodi if you refer instead of the 240Gb, that brings it down to $330 ?
