Compared to Trine 2, it is terrible.
I wouldn't recommend buying this at any price.
Agreed. 1 and 2 are brilliant, 3 is absolute crap.
Have you played either of the first two? It is a very pretty sidescroller/puzzler.

It's decent. Trine 1 & 2 are pure sidescrollers, with three playable (& switchable) characters in a fairy-tale fantasy world. Beautiful art and music, reasonable puzzles and co-op as well as single player.
Trine 3 moved to 3D, which blew out the costs for the studio making the game. As a result, it's about half the length of the other two games - it took me 8 hours for a 100% complete run. It's still good, although the 3D platforming can be fiddly.
For $16, you'd certainly get $2/hour's worth of entertainment from it, although as others have said, it's been cheaper.
it's a ton of fun.
At last we can quantify fun and compare it with other weight based recreations ;)
