Need Deal for a Pre-Paid Credit Card

Looking to get my younger brother who's 12yrs old a $200 prepaid CC.

Last time I let him use my card CC he used about $400 in one day. He shops online like I do but I want to cap his spending every month.

I see coles a d post office selling them but is there any that goves you any extra benefits apart from flybuys points with coles!

Thanks in Advance

If you just want to cap him:
Does he have his own savings account?
He can just use his debit atm card just like you would a credit card

    UPDATE

Or maybe you can sign up for ING DIRECT and let him use the debit card with the 2% cashback and all
Is there a specific need as to why it has to be a CC?

He doesnt have a savings account.
Giving him too much money he will spend it all as all kids do, they cant control themselves. Have tried it lot of times and he cant contain himself.

I want it to be like thag once he uses the money thats it he won't get anything for the rest of the month.

He gets $200 from Mum as cash pocket money and I as an Older brother give him $200 every month.

He buys stuff online but can't keep track of it and ends up using a lot more then intended.

He's not bad or anything just a kid who can't stop himself looking st all the bargains.

I'm sure he's not a bad kid but that is a terrible habit to get into…that should be kicked in the butt asap! $400 a month is ridiculous for a 12 year old! anyway not being judgemental i never had that sort of money as a kid(or even now). Here is a website that issue visa prepaid cards: https://universalgiftcard.com.au/

I wouldn't know what to spend $400/month on as a 12 year old.

  • Thank you

  • What is a 12yr old spending $400 a month on? Give him nothing. He doesn't need pocket money.

    • He buys games and headphnes and stuff.

It's pretty normal in my family for kids to have a bit of money on them.
