This is probably the best pre-paid mobile plan out there for data, currently.

If you in possession of the old optus unlimited $2/day for unlimited data SIM card please disregard this thread.

I use two SIM cards and cannot get broadband internet where I live.

1) Telstra Freedom plus ($40/month) pre-paid

-unlimited talks/text
-6GB data
-$350 international credit
-$40 of Google play money!!
-Telstra network

2) Vodafone 365 day ($20/year) pre-paid
-$3/2GB data add on for 24hrs
-unlimited recharges

Basically, I use Telstra freedom plus for unlimited talks/texts and the extra Google play money. When I'm at home and use the internet I do a 2GB add on with vodafone for $3.

    Telstra Freedom plus - 3GB of that is "night use" only

    Don't know in your area but Optus have for $50 unlimited talk and text, 300 mins of international calls and a whopping 10gb data for a m2m deal so no lock in contact.

    Night use data can be used when you simply run out of day data. Still 6gb total you can fully use.

    You get 40 dollars google play money.

    They literally match you payments with Google play money. I have so much of it I just spend it all on movies and ebooks. Doesn't negate any services

    That optus plan is alright but no google play money and the network isn't as good as telstra

      Are you sure about being able to use Night Data once day data runs out? I'm currently out of Day data and can't use any until 8PM each night..
