Yeah I got one for like $30 almost a year ago but this might be a different model (looks the same). Complete novelty, never actually used it for shots. If you only think you might use it, don't buy it.
also, I think it only works on Android but I could be mistaken
Just buy a new camera body with wifi built in.
abit of a dumb idea, really.
cheap remotes from ebay is a few dollars each… and many FF users shot raw, and it's useless on a phone.
Useful for download straight to a tablet. Do a few edits and upload to the WWW. Some apps now do RAW edits but the transfer will be slow.
I used it a few times…. Kind of useful but sucked battery dry really quickly and it sticking out the side of the camera was annoying plus concerning re dust etc…. I went back to my Eye-fi card plus separate remote, and was fine. Now I'm using Sony kit with built in WiFi, so living the dream….
I paid $30 for this thing like 2 years ago it's probably worth .50c in parts
