  • Just a PSA for the Airfloss thing

I bought one a while back and I'm not saying I have the best teeth but not the worst either
But it was so painful shooting high pressure jets of water onto my teeth/gums.. I shudder thinking about it now..

    • +1

I've heard that it gets better the more you use it.

        Just like regular flossing. :/

    • Do you floss normally/ Does it hurt to floss?

Just curious as to whether it was a your gums aren't good with irritation or if the air/water device just sucks.

    • +1

always hurts the first time. but it will get better eventually.

  • Never Mind.

  • PSA as well: suck IN while using it - if not, it rebound sprays everywhere! (That was my first 6 months of using it!)

Also re hurting: try putting the nosel closer to the tooth (millimeter or so out) - for me it doesn't hurt at all there, but if placed further away it hurts more - just saying that experiment with distance as could be the technique that is wrong.
