Having finally decided to purchase a GoPro Hero4 Silver Edition, I'm (to no surprise) trying to minimise the damage to my wallet.
I've seen a lot of price variations, offers come and go (none as of 21/01/2015) and the best price from a trust-worthy retailer is ~$500.
Does anyone know how often offers come up? Or of any coming soon? And what price I should try and wait for? Saw the all time low sale of ~$350 but won't be holding my breathe for that one anytime soon!

Heading to Bali in march for 10 days actually. Would that work if I'm coming back? On a working holiday visa atm, planning on getting a new Mac book air(hoping the new versions are out by end of June when I'm leaving).

Under $400 would be ideal - but even $450 I'd go for it.

Is the Go Pro android/IOS app any good?
I was thinking of getting the GF the Go Pro Session for her selfie addiction. Or would I be better off with the Sony Action Cams.
Is it easy to buy an accompanying tripod? I didn't see any at JBHifi so maybe ebay?
It's all about the screen for me! And I feel like I'd lose the Hero4 session super quickly.
I'm travelling, cycling and going on little expeditions here and there, so hoping to get a lot of use out of it! Essentially it'll be a bit of a diary for me that I'll use every other week.
So if there's no deal anytime soon, I'll still buy it for $500 because I want it and all its glorious features!
