Telstra Air Free Sims at Universities in SE Qld

Hey Oz Bargainers,

I'm in the process of organising free Telstra $2 sims to be handed out at unis in se qld during O week

This will enable people who activate sims free access to Telstra Air until june 30.

So far Griffith and Usq are on board, Qut is a maybe
Uq advised the have no interest.

Just trying to gauge interest to set aside stock.

so if your from any of the unis and would like one just vote on the poll.

Dates will be posted for ozbargainers once finalized but will most likely be market day during o week at the relevant campus

Feel free to post on the thread if your uni is not mentioned and you would like us to organise something

We Will consider TAFES and other institutions if there is enough interest

So to use data through Telstra Air, do you need to have Telstra broadband at home, and do we get any data allowance if we don't have Telstra broadband at home?

Telstra opened up telstra air for free to telstra mobile customers
By registering a $2 sim you become a Telstra mobile customer
The promotional allows for quota free internet whilst connected until June 30

It is not reliant on having telstra broadband and does not use that quota
