I'm buying a first good TV, specifically wanting a Sharp 40" LED LC40LE700X, and just asking for any tips you guys might have on purchasing TVs. Unfortunately on this, I missed out on the redemption Xbox, and also the bonus 32" offered earlier this year.
The best retailer price I've been able to find is $1899 at Clive Peeters website, and a little cheaper at 2nds world.
Should I wait and maybe grab a new promotion bonus, or do you think that is over for good? Any other good ways of getting some sort of package deal or discount? Or if you know anywhere which might sell these TVs cheaper that would be a big help too.

Once you find a good deal, take the quote or the ad to another retailer and ask the salesperson to beat it. There is always room to move on these things. You'll be surprised, even if you merely show them someone else's ad they'll probably offer to match it without you even asking.
