Needs to be optus compatible, ok if it needs unlocking. Ideally 4.5-4.7" or 5.0" with high screen to body ratio. China phones are ok but fast postage is necessary. Ideas please guys

Hmm, it looks good spec-wise. But a bit bigger at 4.7".
- Elephone (battery capacity is overstated)
- Lenovo (tonnes of bloatware which is hard to get rid of)
- Meizu M2 Note (as above, tonnes of bloatware, but there is a process to get it rooted and then flashed with another rom without bloatware…. afterwards it's a very good option…. so only buy this if you can follow instructions to root/update rom)
- Umi Emax (my current phone… brilliant except that the gyroscope is extremely sensitive so no use for VR). It's 5.5" though so look for a smaller Umi… very good quality and price.

If 5.5 inch is ok, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is great, I got mine from Eglobal, express insured shipping, $184 ish (used $5 discount). Got it just over a week from order. It works fine with optus too (I'm on virgin; they use the optus lines).
