Am I Entitled To At Least A Partial Refund?

In August 2015 I purchased 2 Tickets from Ticketmaster to see Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally- Summer of 69: No Apostrophe for last nights show at State Theatre. When I got there I found out that Nicks wife Megan Mullally had dropped out and the whole name of the show had changed. No emails were received by me to tell me of this change. Megan wasn't sick ,just got a new role offer in another show.
Nick was very funny but I was expecting the husband/ wife team on stage. Should I be entitled to at least a partial refund? What does anyone think?

Have a look at the t&c. It should state what you can and can't do or ask for.

I also bought a ticket for this show in Aug 2015. They sent an email on 21 Dec 2015 informing me that Megan will not be in the show anymore with the following:

"If you can’t make it to the new show, let’s get those tickets refunded. Be sure to get in touch with us before 5pm AEDST on Tuesday 19 January 2016 so we can organise your refund."

You would have gotten an email - I did. I also got told on Facebook of the change.

  • I received an email too and saw it on the Facebook page and through online news too. Looking forward to the Brisbane show but disappointed by Megan's absence.
