Rise of The Tomb Raider Free with Nvidia 970+ Cards

Heyo ok, so deal is you get a free steam key with 970 series or above nvidia gfx cards but the site doesn't mention what stores.

My personal preference is for umart in Brisbane

Anyone know anything more about this?

  • I've never redeemed a game via nVidia but from what my friend said (who recently bought an ASUS GTX 970 and redeemed it for R6 siege). There is a code on the card itself that you have to redeem at ASUS, then you go to nVidia with another code given from the ASUS site. I would suggest asking umart first before purchasing though.

    • I bought a 980ti on Amazon recently(apparently its arriving today) and Amazon just sent me a link via email to redeem Rise of the Tomb Raider. I missed out on Rainbow six with my GTX 970 though from umart when it was being offered with some cards worldwide at the time so definitely ask Umart first as per the comment above.

  • I got the game when k bought my 980ti
Make sure you get the ppid from the card as this is required to claim.
The id is almost impossible to see if the card is installed in your machine and is not recorded on the packaging for the card.
The claim is made through the manufacturer of the card (mins was asus)
They give you a code to go to Nvidia website which then links to steam.

I don't think the retailer matters
You just need to be able to provide the information.
Be aware my friend got a card from US and wasn't able to claim as they detected he was in oz and said it was against terms and conditions to claim for game outside your region or something.

FYI. Intel is giving away free games with their chips too.
    CS:GO
    World of warships
    And just cause 3
