  • Cottonelle or sorbent? Which one is better

Woolies have sorbent on sale his week. Or should I go Cottonelle next week?

    • Tough decision. Butt… Quilton loves your bum!

    • +1

Cottonelle is a great way to finger ya bum. Shredded pulp into sheets of paper. So soft, it's not even paper.

If you can't tell, I hate it.

      • +1

Yeah, its too soft and disintegrate far too easily.

Sorbent seems to be too sand paper like.

Quilton seems to be the best.

although the Coles brand stuff is pretty decent as well.

        • Quilton is banned, by my wife. I still don't know why, and neither does she, really. She guesses something like compressed too much.
It's a perfectly standard option, IMO. Maybe she's thinking of the double length rolls.
I'm gonna unwrap and load a cupboard with many brands. Placebo.

  • I know that coke, etc is more expensive here in SA and also in NT due to recycling but surely that can't be the case here????

    • what? recycled toilet paper? :P

  • Excludes QLD? What an odd product to exclude from certain states. The 32 pack they have here is the same one they had for $10 last year, which was a great deal.

    • Out of every state, QLD is the one that needs toilet paper the most (e.g. Pauline Hanson, John Howard, Joh Bjelke-Petersen and many more…)

      • What has John Howard got to do with QLD?

And - I hate to break it to you, Joh is dead.

  • Nice. Picking some up this afternoon (not too fussy abou toilet paper unless it feels like sandpaper). Last time they ran a similar deal the guy at the checkout counter said most people were popping in just to pick toiler paper up, haha.

    • Not unless you've got a time machine, you aren't…

      • +1

        *tomorrow ;)

  • My local Coles in Tweed Heads had none (I was told that no stock came in) but they did have another special on: The 32 pack for $10 which was apparently a 30%off special.
