WELCOME / TRANSFER Credits for New Mobile Contract Signups

there used to be $200 or $300 credits for swapping / changing providers when the telcos were fiercer in their days of competition… wondering if anyone knows if it still exists or whether this was only done by outsourced call centres or what the go is and where one could get something like that anymore?

    Just got 200 credit from leaving optus to go to telstra, (On the 13th of Jan) Its not advertised,

      could you please advise was it @ a shop or did you call or … & did you sign up for a new 24 mnth contract or …. ?

        Hi, it was on the phone, and yes I signed up to a 24 month contract, he told me it would be by the 3rd bill I had the credit.
