I got an email on Sunday to say Deals Direct, OO and Top Buy are now owned by The MySale Group plc (the "MySale Group") is a leading online retailer with established flash sales sites in Australia, New Zealand, South-East Asia and the United Kingdom providing a complete B2B solution for brands to dispose of excess inventory.
Yes they were originally part of Grays Online. However Grays sold them (together with TopBuy) to MySale group.

I don't see www.dealsdirect.com.au being much different from before. They still seem to have their own inventory.
However, I just logged in and they have changed the suburb name in my address. Also it says they have just shipped an order which they already sent in December. This should be interesting; I may end up with two sheet sets for the price of one.
The new website is appalling. There is no more online customer service . There is no contact number . I sent an email asking about a previous order but no reply. I tried to unsubscribe from their mailing list yet they continue to spam me. I tried to use the forgot password link but nothing came through
OO has turned into spam city.
I've been getting at least 4 spammy emails a day from them now. So far my attempts to unsubscribe have been worthless. (The unsubscribe link takes me to a form to enter my email address to unsubscribe, which it then tells me it has, however it does that for any random email I put in there.)
Actually, just had a look at the raw email and there is an unsubcribe link in the headers, under List-Unsubscribe: that is different to the one linked in the email body.
Copy and pasted the link into my browser, came straight back with a nice simple response showing my email that had been removed (not the other form). Hopefully that one does the trick…
DealsDirect is dead!!! no contact numbers and no reply from emails for 2 weeks, nobody cares. And I cant even get a TAX invoice.

I'll be interested to know what's the equivalent of the old DealsDirect / OO.com.au these days? Bought a Rank Arena Air Fryer from Deals Direct a few years ago, bought a few from OO last year for friends and now more friends are asking where we got them from but DealsDirect / OO.com.au are no longer stocking those.
Pretty sure they're the same company. I guess the COTD/Scoopon format is more popular and they're trying to compete.
