  • quad = 2adults 2 children?

    • 4x adults or pay adult prices for children

      • +2

the price is per what is stated above (and on the Sale page) for 4 "people" … whatever mix of Adults and Children you choose - the price is the same for this sale.

        • thank you :) :)

    • Please Note:

QUAD Cabins: are based on 2 Adults and 2 Children.

All prices and availability displayed on our website are subject to change.

Itinerary is subject to change without notice.

      • +4

I can confirm that (as per the post above) ALL quad prices mentioned in this sale are for 4 people (any configuration you like - 2 adults and 2 children, 4 adults, etc … whatever you choose).

        • +1

          I have 1 adult, 2 martians and a Kriptonian.

          Is it still same price

        • +1

@easternculture: please standby your computer whilst I go and check on that for you … I'll be right back.
          LOL

        • +1

          @CruiseAgency:

no need, my kriptonian friend can fly to you in a minute

  • +2

    4 people.
    Though not 4 children.

  • +3

    To clarify …
Prices for these QUADS are based on 4 Adults (as the price for 4 adults in a quad share cabin can SOMETIMES be more expensive than have say 2 Adults and 2 Children).
To as @altomic stated above … price is for 4 "people" … however you want to mix it up: 4 adults, 3 adults and 1 child, 2 adults and 2 children = all the same price for this cruise.

    • +1

      What about 4 children?

      • Had exactly the same question!

  • I don't see the detailed price when I click the link.

    • correct … we have not yet received the datafeed for our main website with the actual sale prices.
These will be made available to travel agents in the morning, ready in time for the sale commencing at 12pm AEST.
Until then, please refer to the Sale prices mentioned in detail on this page:
      http://www.cruiseagency.com.au/news/po-24-hour-sale-4-februa…

      • D'oh sorry facepalm

        • all good :)

  • What time does the sale commence for us in WA and can you select your own cabin?

    • 12pm AEST …. whatever that is in WA - LOL

    • +1

Starts at 9am in Perth, I found that most cabins are guarantees so will be given before departure.

  • Hi OP, what if we got 4 adult and a 2 year old child, are we able to fix in quad cabin?

    • Unfortunately not ( they are P&O rules, not ours)

      • Add a relilie that doesn't manage to embark.

  • +1

Booked a couple of these 24 hour deals over the last few weeks , found cruise guru selling them slightly cheaper than the advertised price and no credit card fees which P&O and others charge

  • +2

CruiseAgency.com.au does not charge any credit card fees.

    • That's good to know as many others do

      • Well some do, not all..
The largest online cruise agency in AU (name withheld) has recently introduced ccard fees.

        • That would be ozcruising , was on a cruise forum that they now have a 1.5% charge

        • @justhooked: I'm not sure … But there are a few travel agencies charging cc fees, so it's not uncommon.

  • just a question here, if i want to bring 2 toddler and 1 baby (6 months old), can i book for QUAD CABIN? if yes, do i need to pay for my 6 months old baby?

    • +2

P&O do not allow children under 12 months old on board.
And even if they did, they won't let more than 4 people in quad cabin regardless of their age.

  • -2

An honest description of this offer would read:

    ex Brisbane

    • 4 Nights on the Aria to Hunter Valley @ $716 Interior Quad. (for up to 4 people)
    • 4 Nights on the Aria to Hunter Valley @ $796 pp Oceanview Quad. (for up to 4 people)

    ex Melbourne

    • 2 Nights on the Eden - Sea Break @ $198 pp Interior Quad. (for up to 4 people)
    • 2 Nights on the Eden - Sea Break @ $218 pp Oceanview Quad. (for up to 4 people)

… but even in these otherwise enlightened (purple, sparkling) times, the travel 'industry' still insists on deliberately seeking to mislead it's customers by hiding the true price behind "per person" and "per night" figures that are a small fraction of the real minimum spend.

I can't see why the industry wouldn't advertise honestly. These are still good prices without the sleight of hand, smoke, mirrors and obfuscation. I travel domestically multiple times per year, and internationally at least once per year, I book hotels and flights often and I'd love to try a cruise. I would happily pay these prices, even for two people in a 'quad' room, but I won't book anywhere where these tired old "pp/pn" games are being played.

I understand, OP, that you're just playing along with an industry-wide smoke-and-mirrors game, but I don't like it one bit.

    • +2

If you read the OP again, you'll find your calculations are wrong..

      • Yeah, you're right. The my ex-Melbourne numbers are 50% of the real prices, they should be circa $400 per room

  • The reason is that this is the per unit price, which is the most accurate method to compare cruises of different number of nights. Nothing more …

  • Hi All,

Sale prices have now been loaded into our system and all prices are now available on our website: www.CruiseAgency.com.au
(You will notice that CruiseAgency.com.au is offering a further small discount on the already discounted P&O Sale prices!)

    Sale starts in 30min - i.e. @ 12pm Sydney/Melbourne time.

  • +1

I have sent you a message.

    • got it, and responded.

      Thanks :)

  • +1

2 Nights on the Eden - Sea Break @ $99 pp Interior Quad. (ie. $49.50 pp/per day)

The cheapest I can see is $108 Quad-Share Exterior or $105 Triple-share Interior. No $99 prices?

    • Thats because the initial allotment on this one sold out almost straight away.

I've just check the live system and can confirm that there are x4 cabins available right now at $99 price.

Please contact the office asap if you'd like to secure one of these, as they are selling fast at that price.

      Thanks.
