I recently found full time work in Crows nest working close to Willoughby rd, just wondering if anyone knows wheres the best place for all day park in Crows Nest ?

Just pay really close attention to the signs. Around Crows Nest / St Leonards it's quite normal for one side of the street to be metered, and the other side to be free. Or one section to be metered, then a 10m section free, then back to metered. It's almost like they want you to get fined so they can raise revenue or something…
the crows nest metro station should be open in 10 years or so……
hume, balfour, selwyn streets, all on the other side of Pacific hwy.
It's almost impossible to find all day free parking in Crows Nest unless you like to arrive early (around 7:30-8). At those times there are a few streets off Chandos St that have unmetered all day parking and this is the time when the residents usually leave and their spaces become available.
If you don't mind a bit of a walk you can find free street parking down Quiamong Rd and the roads parallel to it and there are usually spaces here until around 8:30ish.
Otherwise you'll be stuck paying for all day parking in one of the parking lots (the IGA on Willoughby Rd used to have $20 all day parking which used to be cheaper than most of the lots…not sure if they closed that loophole though).
Nice place to work! Sucks for parking.
