Can Anyone Recommend a Good/Decent Keyboard for an iPad Mini 2 around $30?

Just a gift for my SO who doesn't need a laptop but is typing a bit in his fantasy basketball forums. Doesn't have to be part of a case - any kind is fine. Cheers!

  • Hmm.. I can tell you what not to get.. avoid Logitech Bluetooth keyboards especially the K811 types, too many compatibility issues and trouble dealing with logitech.. That said I don't know of any of good ones under $30. sorry.

I'm yet to find a good option actually. Keyboards Embedded into covers tends to be the nicest way to do it but most of the smaller ones have keys that are too small and those I've used I've ended up giving up on and using the screen.

There was a nice full size apple keyboard option but soo so expensive. Actually not sure there is anything under $30 outside of say feebay.

Maybe think up another gift idea?

    • Yikes! thanks.

  • I got one Pendo Bluetooth keyboard from Target for $10. Have a check :)

    • wow that's cheap.
I had a look over the manual, specs seem decent. Apparently its designed to Bluetooth version 3.0 which should make it reasonable compatible with a range of devices.

How is it in real world use? Are they keys "responsive" or sticky/hard to press. Any issues with it dropping connection?

For $10 I'd take the gamble plus I think target has a returns policy if its not right.
