Hobart - Mattress and bed frame

Hi guys,

I am trying to find a decent quality mattress (firm) and bed frame here in Hobart.
Went to the local stores. Some stores have prices that are insane! Looking to spend around $500.
Any help will be appreciated.

    Might I suggest good old Ikea. They even deliver in Tassie for $59: http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/customer_service/tasmania.html

    You don't say what size bed but single frames start at $69. You will not get better than that.

    One other idea is gumtree. There are 27 New beds offered in Hobart, some around $200-300.

    I found a nice used furniture dealer called Lucky Mao. I got a decent used bed frame for $120 with delivery.
    Then I got a chirorest mattress from Fantastic furniture for $399 with $59 delivery…Could have done more here but it was urgent and this is was lowest priced decent mattress I found where the springs dont hurt your back!

      Great stuff! I'm a traditional Japanese Futon sleeper myself. Never had a sore back since.

    Yes I sleep on the floor as well (carpeted) and it actually hurts less than a mattress.
