@Cymon Looking at your profile, you also post similar alcohol related deals every week from Dam Murphy's First Choice and Aldi!

Different alcohol just like different coffees!!

      • -5

Not quite every week! Difference is that I am not a store rep, I don't care where people buy a product from; I am just trying to find the lowest price for a product.

I will acknowledge that on closer inspection you are offering different blends/origins of coffee where I only read your post titles and made an incorrect assumption. Happy roasting!

I love that they post on ozbargain every couple of weeks, it means I can always find some good coffee easily just by coming to the site!

Note they only ever post 1 deal at a time and the deals are different so I find it hard to classify it as spam.

I too dig the regular deals. I'm just about to run out. First thing I check is OzBargain… I like the fact that I can get a variety of beans from Manna.

  • When and how often are the beans ( multiple batches ) roasted ?

    • +1

We roast coffee on a daily basis so normally dispatched within 1-2 days. This coffee will be roasted this afternoon. Please bear in mind that although you can drink straight away, coffee can take a few days to degas and develop after roasting before reaching it's peak and full flavour. We ship using Aus Post express :-)

  • Great, just placed my order (been wanting to try the Jamocha). Thanks again!

Thanks Frogduck ;-) Have a great week

  • Ordered the 4x480g deal. Assume these would be more suited to cold drip also? Looking forward to these! :)

    • Yes, light roasts work best for cold drip :-)

  • +1

Dammit, I'm still working through the 4x bags from the last package (they've been lovely, as always)

    But I adore Jamocha… hmmmmmm

    • Thanks for the feedback :-) New Tanzanian crop just landed for our Jamocha blend

  • Hi there, any chance of just one Jamocha and if so what would the price be? Can put it through paypal like we have done in the past

    Regards,
    Russell

    • Hi Russell, no problem. 1kg Jamocha would be $34.95 delivered. Please end funds through Paypal to [email protected] and leave notes :-) Thanks Simon

      • if i order today, can you delay till next week to raost and ship?

      • Hi Manna,

Can I get in on the 1kg Jamocha would be $34.95 delivered too?

        Thx

  • Hi Mr. Mannabeans,

I'm someone who knows nothing about coffee and just buys arabica beans from woolworths. Can you please recommend me a similar type of coffee from your store?

I also don't want anything that tastes or has been processed with alcohol.

    • Hi CDNA, Welcome to fresh roasted coffee. No problem, we don't use alcohol in any way. We just fresh roast green coffee beans. A good place to start would be with one of our coffee blends. I would recommend Jamocha or Southern Mountain. These are good all round coffees and suited to use with milk. We also offer these coffees in the cafe at our roastery :-)

Coffee is fresh for around 3-4 weeks after roasting and then will start to drop in quality until it becomes very similar in quality to what you might find on the supermarket shelves.

Let me know how you get on :-)

      • How many cups of coffee can you get out of 2 x 980g of coffee beans?

        • Just an additional note. I started off with the arabica at woolies and freshly roasted beans do make a whole lot of difference. Haven't tried the ones Manna suggested but I made my order for those 2 with high hopes :)

        • Depends how strong you like it and what kind of brew your doing. If you're exclusively doing plunger, you should use a 1:15 ratio or so. So 250g water needs about 17g of coffee, so 980g/17g = about 59 coffees.

  • argh! only just finish 1 980g bag from your last deal.

I really wanna try the jamocha but still got another 1kg to go through. ANy chance you can repeat this deal in a week or two?

    • Perhaps you could ask them to delay your order and ship it next week.

    • Jamocha is being roasted regularly so should be fairly easy for me to accommodate your request once you're ready for more coff3ee ;-) Just shoot me an email closer to the time

  • 10% off of the brewover on ebay atm has got me tempted. What size geisha does that come with as it doesn't say in the listing.

    • Ebay listing comes with 70g geisha but if you buy through the Manna Beans website it's $5 cheaper shipping anyway and I'll bump you up to 3 x 100g bags of light roasted specialty coffees inc the geisha :-)

  • First time buyer and novice black coffee drinker here. Just wondering which selection is good to have as long black/Americano.

    Thank guys

    • +1

Hi Notewar, welcome aboard. as a long black coffee drinker as a general rule of thumb the light/light medium roasts of a decent specialty coffee would suit you better. From this deal the option below would suit you best :-)
