I tend to get over-excited about entertainment events (concerts, fun-runs etc) and jump the gun when buying tickets for myself and friends, only to find that life gets in the way closer to the day and I get left holding unwanted tix which I then have to try to pass on, sell or give away.
Was wondering where people sell/give away their unwanted or 'I-can't-use-em' event tickets online?
Gumtree? OzB? Any suggestions welcome…

of course ozbargain! you get some good deals so sometimes give good deals back to the community
I have used http://www.viagogo.com/ once to sell unwanted sporting tickets. Worked well, but keep in mind they take a sizable cut of the money, something which you wouldn't have to give up if you were to sell on gumtree etc.

I've always tried to giveaway (or sell very cheaply) unwanted tickets to friends on Facebook first. Then, I'll try Gumtree. If I ever felt inclined to giveaway tickets on OzBargain, it would be to users that have been members for at least 1+ year. So many times, it's the ones who have been a member for 1 week asking for giveaways…
