Wall Mountable Cordless Handheld Vacuum for < $150 ?

Hi all,

I am looking to purchase a cordless 'dustbuster' style handheld vacuum. Basically after something to have on hand to quickly clean up after our toddler.

There are plenty of options out there, but the one thing I'm having trouble finding is one that is able to be mounted on the wall (ie mount the charger / base on the wall and just be able to pick up the vacuum from there knowing it will be charged, put it back after use to charge again).

Wet /dry would be a bonus, but not necessary. The main things are that it is powerful and wall mountable.

Any suggestions?

      Thanks for the reply. I assume you mean the DC34? I can't see anywhere that it is wall mountable though?

      To be honest, it looks a little bit too bulky for what I had in mind anyway- as mentioned I'm more after a 'dustbuster' style vac, something like this:

        We've got a Dyson handheld, not sure what model but look the same as the dc34. The charger is definitely wall mountable. It might be a bit bulkier, but it is also a much better vacuum than the old dust busters, and probably better than the current ones too.

        Buying it also meant that our old Dyson doesn't venture downstairs into the living spaces any more. It's so easy to spot clean with the hand held that you can do a room in 3min and put it away rather than thinking that I need to be bothered doing the whole floor now I've got the big one out.

        I'd also a recommend a Dyson. Are you near a Good Guys or Jb Hi-Fi Home you can visit? There are plenty of options available at these stores that salespeople would be able to direct you to. You can take note of the models you like and then go bargain hunting for specials on these models.

        I just noticed the one you linked to is under $150, just curious why you haven't bought it if that's what you're looking for and it's in your price range?

          As mentioned in my OP, the big thing that most of them seem to be missing is the ability to be wall mounted (including the one in the link I posted).

          I actually have a Dyson barrel vac already that I'm really happy with, but I'm just not sure that something like the DC34 would fit in the space I'm after.

    Buy a wall mountable Dyson DC45 from Masters. RRP $299, less 10% off voucher = ~$270.

    It's worth paying the extra $120 above your budget for something that… doesn't suck.

    Powerful and wall-mountable.

    Looks like it's the 1810-XE. Not sure how different that would be to the 1820L-XE

      Not sure about the 1820 but the 1810 isn't wall mountable.
      Went into Godfreys today, only wall mountable ones they had were the hoovers.
