KitchenAid® Professional 5 Qt. Mixer KV25G0X for $250. Is this worth ?

Hi Guys

I need to buy a food mixer , I have never used a good mixer before .I was looking to find a deal for a Breville Scraper Mixer . But I found this today. Has someone used this kitchenaid before? is it worth the money ? I would appreciate your opinion .

I would love one for that price. Seems like a bargain.

  • Are you buying this on ebay, through an American site. I dont believe that this is an Australian model, and they are about $249 in the US. It is a professional mixer, but what happens if it breaks down. If you are not going to use it a lot, buy a Breville or something like that, they work well and dont need a transformer, like your Kitchenaid would.

    • It on target .

        • Thanks mate , I didn't realise it

Late to the party but thought I'd pipe in as someone who has owned & used my KitchenAid mixer for years now. They are extremely tough & durable. I first bought it when I lived in the US & then brought it over to AU in 2007. It's been running through a transformer since then, no trouble at all. I use it weekly, at a minimum. Especially great for mixing home made meatloaf! It has add-on sets of attachments to do veg, cheese slicing shredding & also meat grinding.

They're as heavy as though. To have one shipped would be quite expensive. I'd doubt it would be damaged in-transit unless truly dropped or crushed. You really can't get a better mixer.

    This is mine:

    • Thanks mate, Its sad that those are not sold here for the similar price as in the US .
