HDD for Kogan Agora 55" 4K LED UHD TV 3D

Hi Ozbargainers
Anyone out there have the Kogan Agora 55" Led UHD TV(3D)
I want to record TV, download internet movies, TV etc.
I bought Seagate wireless plus HDD on the advice of Kogan saying I need 1TB or less, externally powered HDD or up to 32gb USB stick.
I've tried reformatting the Seagate HDD as instructed in the TV manual.
The TV says please insert USB first.
I'm thinking I need to connect my Modem via cable, then wirelessly connect the Seagate HDD & then I will be able to reformat the HDD for recording TV, internet downloads etc.
If you have any experience or knowledge of these products please respond with your suggestions.
Thankyou, very much appreciated 😊

  • Download the free version of Minitool Partition Wizard here http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

Then format your 1TB HDD to FAT32 filesystem with it and that should fix the detection by your TV

  • Thanks Agret.I have been informed by Seagate that this HDD is only compatible with Samsung TVs. Can you oe any ozbargainers please confirm that if I download the Minitool partition on my HP Windows 10 OS,as suggested by Agret, this should fix my problem by reformatting the HDD to Fat32. So as I understand it once I have Minitool partition on my computer, I connect the HDD via Usb to my computer, copy the Seagate HDD on to my computer, then reformat toFat32, copy HDD files back to the Seagate HDD. Then I plug the Seagate HDD into a power point, Connect the Seagate HDD to the Smart TV via wireless internet & I will be able to download internet movies, TV,etc and record TV using the PVR onto th TV.
Sorry for any confusion & the long post/comment. I did have 1 other idea that if I connect the Seagate HDD to my Smart TV via wireless internet this may allow the TV to reformat the HDD directly.
    Thankyou

  • connect hdd to your router usb then it should detect by your tv through network

  • Hi to all the Ozbargainer's out there.
I have tried all of the suggestions as previously mentioned.
Does anyone have any ideas/previous experience with the Kogan Agora Smart Uhd Tv 55" 3D model for recording & internet ?
I've been recording some Tv to Sony 32gb Usb stick, but it doesn't always allow it to play.
I would preferably like at least 500gb HDD.
I also have apple Tv box 2nd gen.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thankyou in advance, much appreciated 😊
