Honoring advertised price - Target Dyson Vacuum

I noticed that when you view the Test Match Cricket deal posted yesterday, Target are advertising a Dyson vacuum for only $349 (see link). I asked them about it and they said it was an error, which is fair enough it happens, and they will not honor it. But it has been over 24 hours since I contacted them and despite them saying that they were going to 'urgently address the issue' the price on the site remains the same. Now that they are knowingly advertising the incorrect price and haven't done anything to address it, should they honor the advertised price?

  • Shame on target, last time the target online issues they are honoring it.

  • its in the fine print
they dont have to honour anything within reasons

24 hours for them to update isnt an issue either

dicksmith sold out of stock akai tvs for 2 weeks after i reported it.

if we are talking 349 vs 700+ for the actual price good luck getting it honoured

  • …Test Match Cricket game is what comes up for me?

    • Yes the advert for vacuum is down the bottom of the page

      • Yup, just saw that and was editing my comment :)

  • I gather you are talking about the "you might also like" links on the Test Match page? If you click through it shows a price of $549 on the actual listing, so I'd think the $349 is just eBay's error of using a cached price from when the listing was incorrectly priced.

Edit: Interestingly, if you check the purchase history, looks like it was actually selling for $349 from mid-to-late January…

    • Ah well that makes sense then. Disappointed I missed it becuase that's a really great price!

  • +1

Get someone else to price match it??
