Sure if you don't want a tax invoice and nationwide warranty. Also this one would come with a USB cable.

      Best store name.

    • No name ? It's a Favolcano!

probably a good idea to just want until the xiaomi 10000mah powerbank goes on sale for ~$15 again at banggood.

Yeah or even spend the extra and get it from Mushtato :)

        link?

      • I"m looking forward to Mushtato carrying the 20,000mAh battery they talked about arriving sometime in the new year.
No sign of it yet though……
I'm enjoying my 10,000 unit but would like some more capacity for my cycle touring.
More than happy to the Mushtato prices to buy locally and enjoy genuine products and prompt dispatch and delivery.

do you use a solar charger to keep your battery topped up ? If so can you recommend one ?

        • @effgee:
If you're not using a rear disc brake you could try this:
          http://www.sunupeco.com/#!maxidyn/c13dc

        • @octagonalman:

I could, but the website doesn't inspire me, and for the same $ and kg penalty I could buy 7 or more 10000mAh batteries…

What is your experience with them ?

[edit] actually on a full read of the website it simply scares me, no technical info no indication of efficiency. Not sure I need an electric brake.

        • @effgee:
I've only had experience with Shimano and Shutter Precision 3W hub generators. Their output is only good enough to defer a flat battery until you get to four-walled accommodation. But I'm already carrying that hub generator mass penalty as my guaranteed light power source.

        • @effgee:
No as I'm working on the theory that whilst the sun is shining, I'm likely to be spinning the pedals.
I've invested in two dynamo hub charging systems.
One for my bike and one for my trailer.
Son28 dynohubs with E-werk with cache batteries.
The solar chargers I'd be inclined to consider e.g.. Anker 21w appears simply too heavy and bulky for the returns.

          www.amazon.com/2-Port-Charger-Anker-PowerPort-iPhone/dp/B012…

Instead I'll carry a couple of 16000mAh Xiaomi batteries for just in case moments.
My bikes system keeps on top of my power needs for my iPhone, Garmin Edge and Pitzl Tikka2xp headlight torch with Core battery.
My trailer will power toys like Sony RX100 and an iPad (albeit slowly).

          Hope this helps

        • thanks for the comments

how do you know they are originals and not fakes?

  • How many charges does a 10,000 mAh give for a mobile phone and/or tablet?

    • Probably about 3.
Most popular phones have a 2-3000 mAh battery.

interesting, looks like they have just repackaged these… https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/202339

they work fine, mine is still working

  • Does anyone know if these powerbanks support pass through charging ie simultaneous charging of device(s) and powerbank?

  • I got a 10000mA a few days ago and tested it twice now. Discharging at 1.3A I get < 4 hours at 4.65V - only 2/3 of what I'd expect.
