Air Fryer - Kitchen Chef 3.2l Any Good?

Hey so after being on the fence about it for so long as just a glorified oven finally thinking about getting myself an air fryer to use. As groupons got its 15% off goods and the kitchen chef 3.2L is going for $99 (http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/national-deal/gg-ez-innovati…) at the moment, was wondering if this was a good item compared to the more branded versions like phillips, etc. Also saw a Health Choice air fryer on groupon with same price http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/national-deal/lenoxx-electro…

Basically in a nutshell I ain't too much of a cook so just looking for something durable, easy to use that I can whip up some good chips, fried chicken, the usual. I've read mixed reviews about the kitchen chef so was wondering on some advice. The 15% ending tomorrow so hoping for some quick responses haha.

Thanks in advance fellow ozbargainers

  • It will be bigger than what you may expect.I bough my one from ebay with 10% off from $89. it is easy to use and clean but the food won't taste as good as using deep fryer.

  • yes bigger than my pressure cooker for 10 ppl

  • Hi O.P,
Just wondering if you bought any of the above mentioned air fryer, I am looking to buy one. Couldn't find any reviews.

Hey no sorry. Haven't acted on getting them. Found the kitchen chef going for less than on groupon even with the discount on ebay so it wasn't like I was time-pressured. Like you haven't found much in the realm of reviews. If you do end up getting one would live to also hear your feedback

Bought a Le Coucou 3L from ebay, used only once but the quality seems good. The size is just right and the design is pretty okay. Will wait and see how long it will last.
