A good quality and fashionable Chelsea boot (men's)

I'd go with RM williams but even their factory seconds are way too expensive.

Some things are worth paying more for

Blundstone are quality, but hardly fashionable. Loake Chatsworth have decent Chelsea boots but price-wise they're within spitting distance of RMs, and you're still getting that ugly seam. There's a reason why RMs are expensive, take care of them and they'll last you a decade or more.

I've bought the cheaper RMs a couple of times now and been very disappointed, Blundstones lasted longer. These Thomas Cook boots are lasting well.

  • On an unrelated note, I just bought a pair of CDB beeswax for 50 bucks. Steal! :)

I'm content with these for now so I'll wait for a deal on the Chelseas you guys are talking about!

  • rockport brand is good.. try their store

  • I got through my Julius marlows in less than 6 months when the sole disintegrated.. Now trying a pair of aquilas.. Comfy and not much sign of wear and tear 4 months in.. Bought $200 gift voucher when they were on sale for 20% off and then asked for a discount in store (180 - 150).. Brought the cost down to about $120 a pair
