Blundstone are quality, but hardly fashionable. Loake Chatsworth have decent Chelsea boots but price-wise they're within spitting distance of RMs, and you're still getting that ugly seam. There's a reason why RMs are expensive, take care of them and they'll last you a decade or more.
I've bought the cheaper RMs a couple of times now and been very disappointed, Blundstones lasted longer. These Thomas Cook boots are lasting well.
On an unrelated note, I just bought a pair of CDB beeswax for 50 bucks. Steal! :)
I'm content with these for now so I'll wait for a deal on the Chelseas you guys are talking about!

I got through my Julius marlows in less than 6 months when the sole disintegrated.. Now trying a pair of aquilas.. Comfy and not much sign of wear and tear 4 months in.. Bought $200 gift voucher when they were on sale for 20% off and then asked for a discount in store (180 - 150).. Brought the cost down to about $120 a pair
