I would like to buy it today from bigW 69$ offer, but keen to know existing users experience and opinion about it.
Is there any issues that I need to be concerned about? I'm using a Y550 since the beginning of 2015, if that helps.

Thanks, excellent. My mum also has the same Y550 and is complaining she can't update the apps, since the storage is limited.

A few issues such as KnockOn and possible pocket dialling, but it can be turned off using Activity Launcher.
is that from experience? because I never pocket dial on my lg g3 which also has KnockOn.
I haven't used an LG Leon but comparing the specs with your current phone it looks like you'll just end up with a better camera and slight bump up in storage. LG UI might be a little nicer / different (KnockOn is neat if you've never tried it), and the rear buttons are neat on my g3 (not sure how that'll translate on the smaller Leon). Otherwise pretty damn similar in terms of spec.Can't complain for 69$, eh?
@bargainaus: definitely, I mean if you gotta have aus stock phone can't go wrong (I'd go grey if it were for me, but local for family)
For most people it should be fine, but it didn't work well for me as there was still light reaching the sensor in the areas where I placed my phone. In that it depends on the fabric. It should work well combined with a leather flippy case or inside a bag.
If you wear something that lets in light, then the screen will come on as it taps against your body and will use up the battery. I have not experienced pocket dialling, but others have mentioned it. It is, however, awkward with someone asking why there is a light coming from under your clothes. x_X

I bought it and I rate it 11/10 for my needs. Best bang for bucks I ever had.
How's the durability? I read a couple of reviews saying their screens shattered really easily from being dropped.

Mine's working well too.
Ordered a gel case, tempered glass screen protector and unlock code from ebay…cost $6 to unlock.
Reception is good, and it handles well in the hand…a bit like a shrunk down G3 (much thicker though).
Similar to my G3, I rarely fimd myself reaching for the rear buttons…there's double tap to wake, and volume can be ajusted from a slider in the pull down menu as well.
However, one niggle…there's no auto brightness in this phone(!). Of all the corners LG have cut, this would take the cake for being the most annoying…
Screen is nice and clear (and bright enough to use as a beacon at full brightness)
For a device that costs $69, does all 3G bands needed in AU, plus does all 4G bands needed in AU except LTE850 for Voda, it's awesome value. I'm susprised hasn't caught on as the next Y550 to use as the next MP3 player/GPS/fridge magnet (probably because it doesnt have the $50 starter kits the Y550 had)
Another annoying thing is the absence of a LED blinker.
But who cares, its 69 effing bucks only! And the GPS is way better than the Y550, no losing out on signals.
I was too late for the BigW sale, so I ended up ordering mine from the eBay deal with Optus. XD It's coming today!

Today it slipped away from my hand and dropped onto parking of shopping center. The screen is shattered, but believe me or not, I was glad that it was not a flagship phone. :D
I'd like to know if it can be unlocked cheaply as well.
