  • Click & Clock? Not available. Wanna try to see if it's available in a store near you? The postcode search function is kinda frozen and doesn't respond. Come on, Big W!

    • Post code search works for me. PM me your post code and I can check for you.

      • Somehow it doesn't work for me. Check this postcode, please: 5022. And thanks for the help.

  • Something like this for everyday use, does it look like a handbag?

  • In the previous post there was discussion about black vs grey bags, can anyone confirm there actually is a black version? The tag on the one I bought said slate grey.

    • I bought two of these the last time they were on sale for $15. Both say slate grey on the tags.

  • 2 available in craigieburn, VIC this pm.

  • First time around I went in to Big W Campsie to buy one only to be told that they had sold out on the first day and 'Did I know how many people had gone ine asking for them?'. Yet they still showed stock online.
Eventually I got one on holiday in Tasmania.

I was going to get another to send as a present to my dad (overseas) courtesy of my mum visiting me and taking it back with her - only to discover the offer had ended. Three days later it's back on! Too late!

The intended camera compartments aren't big enough for a dSLR - not with a lens attached anyway.
You could cut the divider in that compartment to possibly make one fit but then it would be on the roomy side.

The main compartment is pretty big, but has no padding (the camera compartment is padded and suspended to protect against the bag being dropped).

It could be used as a small satchel (you couldn't fit anything A4 in it and zip it closed though), but I think it's a bit too big for use as a man bag - and $15 isn't such a big bargain for one of those anyway and isn't quite as functional.

PS/ mine is slate grey too.

    • Sounds like your experience of missing out the first time around has coloured your expectations of the bag.

Personally I think its a well designed bag with features you typically don't see in messenger bags like the additional soft padded and lined pockets and the expansion zip.

Given these bags originally retailed at around $69, $15 is certainly a bargain.

Sure it won't hold a full-size body dSLR, but it won't hold an african elephant either. As always I suggest people do their research on an item before purchasing - http://store.lowepro.com/streamline-250

From the Lowepro Site: '…for your tablet, smartphone, compact camera kit and essentials.'

    • Not designed for dslr to being with, its for mirrorless along with tablet phone etc, small stuff. But for those interested if just need something small to carry your dslr around, get some padding for the bottom the main compartment and you can stick in a d7200 and 70-300 zoom fine.

  • Plenty of stock at Eastgardens (NSW).

  • Plenty at Carnes Hill, worth $15 but would never pay the regular price for this.
