Question about Downloading Google Play Content

I have been searching about downloading purchased content off google play, however this seems to only be possible for music. Regarding movies and shows this comes up. Just wanted to know if anyone has found a solution?

Sorry, should have been more clear. As per google's website, movies and shows can only be downloaded onto android devices. Sure I can download it onto my phone but last time I tried, could not find where it stored the files at all. My question was if someone found a way to download the movies onto pc like they allow for music.

    u can pre download movies on google play to watch later, I've done it before, u click that icon on the bottom right of the movies u own

    You can watch some of them through YouTube I think. But I agree, I don't really want to do this, I prefer to download purchased items to my computer, back them up, and stream them to my Apple TV. So I've only ever gotten movies from Google Play when they're free, or when the price is really really cheap. The first time I bought a movie because they were cheaper than iTunes, and realised that I couldn't do that much with it, I decided it wasn't really worth the bother of buying from them most of the time.

      Exactly. Which was why I wanted to know if downloading them normally was possible.
