Has anyone in Australia had any experience booking international airfares through cheaptickets.com? I am looking at flights to Phuket from Adelaide and they are offering a great deal with Singapore Airlines but I am hesitant to purchase online because as they say 'if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is'. Just looking for some experienced travellers' input.

Well I got the idea from the last comment on this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/234099. It might work if you can find the same flights using aggregators like iwtf or skyscanner.
I booked a nice hotel in Bali through them, no problems.
Owned by Orbitz I think, so should be reputable.
And orbitz is now owned by Expedia.
OP: cheaptickets prices are in USD. Could that be the reason for seeing a 'lower' fare.
I used to use cheaptickets to book hotels, very often. They often have 20% off codes. However, the prices are in USD, and anymore they don't seem to be so great, especially after tax is added. Make sure you get all the way to the end of the checkout (just before you have to enter payment info) to get the full price.
Thankyou, I initially went to cheap tickets . com which did show the lower price and when I added the au it converted to the Aussie site where fees are slightly cheaper than the airline itself.
Why don't you just price match with flight centre?
