Anyone had any experiences on a lodged Paypal dispute for something that they received and only disputed part of the transaction but was refunded the whole amount (including other items not in dispute) and then the company who you bought off then appealed? Appeal only lodged so no outcome yet.
Got a long story to this but curious to know if anyone else had this happen to them and what was the outcome.
I have refunded someone in full before instead of partial (was refunding multiple surplus postage and got the tabs mixed up), asked them politely to resend payment and that was ignored, PayPal was not successful in obtaining the money (~$150 IIRC), I chalked it up to my silly mistake and learned a lesson.
You could offer to pay for original $ minus dispute $ by asking them to issue you with an invoice. That'll save them postage and hassle I think, depending on value of said goods.
