Hadn't seen any discussion about this, but I got the following from Udemy:
"Today we’re excited to announce that we are simplifying our pricing structure to be more intuitive, predictable, and accessible. Effective April 4, 2016, all paid Udemy courses will be priced from $20 - $50 each. We will also continue to support free courses.

So it seems they are setting a price cap on courses at $50, but with a minimum at $20, and a maximum discount of 50%, but free courses are still allowed.
No more gaming of the system by running 100% off to get up the charts?
