That's never going to happen. Same deal with the current state of (only) downloading music, games, movies, etc.
Besides the solution, just as a friendly discussion re copying. Here are my take on different perspectives.
In the past and/or in some countries, copyright has little respect. The exchange rate makes things eg books and games hardly affordable. The way to "have it" is to copy or buy cheap copy. For instance, a meal in a developing county can be $2, a textbook of $100 is 50 meals - which it is extremely expensive, while in Australia and other first world, a typical meal is $10, so a textbook is only 10 meals.
On the other hand, cost to copy in Australia is expensive. It is actually cheaper to buy the original textbook.
The second hand market is stronger (as people likes original and price), hence quite easy to offload the book at 50-20% discount once finished, Sometimes can even make a profit if the book is high demand and hard to find.
Personally find easier to read from original than copy and it is the exam result that matters.
Think most people "here" know, free is good but "paying for something" is not always bad.
Imagine you graduate as a podiatrist/a doctor, every patient does not pay the invoice or ask for bulk bill, would it be fair to you and the family you feed,
It is just me as believe in doing good deeds, live is short, make the most of it and enjoy!
