    This seller is a scam

  • $320 USD ~ $422 AUD.

    • That is AUD not USD

      • Link shows the price to be $320 USD not AUD.

        • It is AUD because i have bought one myself.

        • +4

It changes to AUD when you add the cart or refresh the page.

The website is a bit broken on my end, using Firefox.

        • @scrimshaw: Definitely AUD my order got confirmed yesterday and it has deducted $320 AUD not USD

        • @hrangwala: did you receive your mobile mate? After how many days?

      • -2

        Its $320USD

        • That is incorrect it is AUD i have bought one myself.

        • -2

You must be blind cause it clear as day says AUD on the website.

        • +1

@Axelstrife: It was coming up as USD for me as well until I refreshed the page a couple of times

  • +3

    Confirmed as AUD $320

  • OP - Shipping prices change with different postcodes. Just because you got $18, doesn't mean everyone does.

A great price if the seller is half decent

    • +4

Well after reading whirlpool it seems like it's not even 1% decent. I should have bought 2 ice blues from jb hi fi. SMH.

    Nexus 5x 32GB $369.60 + delivery

    is good price too.

  • +1

Must be a price error i guess, but thats a sexy price for a unsexy phone :)

    • Certainly not a price error. It is a regular price on their website.

    • +3

But still better looking that the 6P, which reminds me of the old barcode scanners.

  • Word of warning to people considering, I've had 4 faulty 5X devices (direct from Google store) and still in possession of 2 units as Google has stopped replying to me for over a month.
First unit completely bricked itself after a month (no drops/water etc) and all 3 other units have 1 or more stuck/dead pixel. Using the charger the phone ships with (Aus stock at least) causes very un-responsive touches, making typing rather impossible.

Happy owner of a 6P now. Waiting on reply from Google concerning the two 5Xs I have…

    Best of luck though. :)

Never ever buy LG products after monitor fails multiple times…

      • +8

I have 1 LG phone (G2), 1 LG TV (can't remember name but it's 4 years old) and few others. All going strong, none of them failed.

      • Don't know if it is an LG thing, but I'm on my 3rd Nexus 5. 1st fault was random reboot, 2nd fault was battery. Third one seems to be ok.

        • I already got 5 Nexus 5 in my hand. All of them has issue with bootlooping and random reboot. It is good that Google still want to be responsible with their customer, even I already had the phone for more than 2 years. However, the refurbished condition from Google sucks.

      • +1

Still got my nexus 4 going.

    • You bought 6p cause your 5x device is faulty? Why don't you ask for upgrade to 6p instead?

      • +2

Trust me, I tried. Asked for refund, asked to swap to 6P plus I would pay the difference, they kept saying they couldn't do anything but keep giving me 5X devices. I quoted ACCC and that's when they stopped replying. Been meaning to follow up on it.

I've only had my 5x for a few days and was quite concerned reading about these kinds of issues.

So far couldn't be happier. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

      • +2

Not to worry mate. I've had my 5x for about 4 months now and no issues yet. I do however agree with the previous poster about the screen being less sensitive while its charging. But I've had that same experience on phones of other manufacturers as well, so I wasn't concerned.

  • buy from their ebay store (abit more expensive) if you want to be more safe
i just bought the 32gb one and it arived today (less than 5 days)

    • +1

Hopefully you won't experience what this customer did

Fault claim rejected by Ebay, Paypal, & Credit Card Charge Back

      https://youtu.be/1rWXWHSaylA

  • So what is the low down guys? Is the store trustable or not? The price is really tempting.

    • +3

      Negative. Avoid.

  • +5

Do NOT purchase a phone from this provider. Just my two cents. Wait for other deals, or purchase at JB.

Have a good read of the link posted above (Whirlpool). If you like gambling, you are rolling the dice for a number of different reasons here, none of which are worth it for anything over $100 (IMO).

    • +3

By the way OP, this is nothing against your post. You've posted a competitive price and done your bit. I neg-ed your post so that people were aware of the potential issues in purchasing from this supplier.

    • I second that..

  • Is this better or LG G3? especially in terms of battery life and camera

    • Yes it has one of the best cameras and battery life is also better than LG G3.

      • +2

A Nexus handset will never have one of the best cameras when you're stuck shooting with Google Camera.

    • Yes, not better than a G4 though which is similar cost.

  • I bought the 32gb version from the Exansys deal, couldnt be happier got it super quick and is full international version with proper au charger :)

  • seems like they just sell refurbished stock or repaired stock. It is possible it is new but something may have happened to it which needed repairs. Knowing HK a lot of the repair parts aren't reliable, i know, i've purchased digitizers from there. I could be wrong but that's the only way i can see why it is so cheap and why there are so many faults.

  • JB Hi Fi have a 200 dollar off the 5x so it's 447 dollars, aus stock from my email I got from them.

  • hmmm very unfortunate they fraud on their website. but id like to say my purchase throught their ebay store has been overwhelming; fast delivery and the nexus 5x is an australian stock one!
