Hi Team, after some recommendations for a general purpose laptop to use around the house and take on the occasional trip (the usual browsing, movie watching etc.)
My wants are;
- m or i intel processor (none of this atom or celeron rubbish)
- Maximum 13 inch display, full HD
- At least a 128Gb SSD (but preferably more), or something I can upgrade later to an SSD.
- 8gb of ram, or ram I can upgrade later.
- Lightweight (say under 1.5kg)
Budget is open as there's a bit of a selection out there, definitely south of $800, with bonus points on offer the closer to $500. The Toshiba and Asus laptops deals up recently were pretty good but still above $800. I'm keeping an eye on the dell outlet page too, but the well specced ones seem to disappear quickly and I'm left with a heap of inspirons with 500gb hard drives and HD only screens.
Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated. Cheers!
Most of the Dell Latitudes are quite heavy, so have a look at the Inspiron series. XPS13 is out of your price range.
Lenovo might satisfy you.
