      BUT…

As we brings you products from all over the world, our products are international models. Please note that these models are equivalent to those sold in Australian retail stores, and we provide you with an Australian travel adaptor. Every products we sell work perfectly in Australia.

As the OP should have already written.

      They should also have written:

As our products are grey-imported goods, product prices do not include and we do not charge any tax or GST (Goods and Service Tax).

Thank you very much. So it is non Australian Warranty.

        • +2

Also you have to ship it to HK at your own cost, they would do the assessment at their own time and if the assessment outcome says it is a warranty issue, they would then ship a new phone. Until then (hopefully you still have it) you'll need to use your own replacement.

          @ss207k: No deal for me.

  • Man I just bought LG G4 from kogan on ebay 20% off deal for $440. Should have waited for this one.

    • +6

I reckon G4 is better than this.

      • It is LG got 3gb Ram. Still waiting for a better deal for G4.

        • how long you going to wait ? after G5 launch ? seems to be going down every other day.

    • androidenjoyed.com has the LG G4 for $415 delivered which i'm thinking of getting, seems you get a lot for for $45. what you think of the g4?

      • +1

I am still waiting to get it.

  • -6

No band 28, no Band 40 - no buy!

    • +14

Also not a valid reason to neg…

      • +5

I think the lack of 4G for some people is quite important.

        • +1

Doesn't mean this isn't a good price though.

  • bought one during the launching days, paid $700+; this must be the fastest price-dropping nexus phone.

    • +1

Same stories as other nexus too. Nexus 5 and Nexus 6, both have fast price-dropping history.

      • Dropped at end of life…. not really before hand.

    • +7

The launch price was way too high to begin with.

      • +2

        I'm hoping a price-war ensues.

Nexus 5X could be the next MicroSD card/Eneloop.

  • It may be a Grey import missing a few 4g bands but still a great price.

    • +2

Yep, still great for people on Vodafone, as it supports all of their 4G LTE bands.

Guys, found a better deal on noworries.com.au, h791,32GB,$384 plus $16 for delivery: http://www.noworries.com.au/lg-nexus-5x-h791-4g-32gb-white.h…

Guys, I think this is the H971 Version, this is their listed supported 4G LTE Bands:
    http://i66.tinypic.com/ou86me.png

Not sure whether this is true or not, but it's what they're claiming?

    • +1

(Why) is it so hard for a seller to give the model number???

    • Band 12 is also called 700mhz but isn't used in Australia.

It's for T-Mobile USA. So I'm not sure, but I doubt it.

While this is a fantastic price, I'm afraid I'll have to give a neg as I've had significant issues with this retailer.

I bought am ipad last year, and there was screen bleed on opening it. When I asked for a replacement, they accused me of dropping the iPad, and we're very reluctant in helping me out.

Note that I had brought the product to apple, who not only agreed that it was most likely a lemon, but also advised that I had to bring it back to the point of purchase.

SO after many emails back and forth, they final agreed to "review it". Their "technicians"(bunch of whackjobs) who looked at the photos of the iPad concluded over pictures that I had dropped it (I didn't even drop it, it was defective as soon as I had turned the damn thing on and this was confirmed by Apple to be a common issue) and so would not be pursuing this case. So I lodged a PayPal dispute (love those guys) and after another week (3 weeks by this time) they ordered a full refund is in order, but had also asked me to pay for postage, which came to $22.

So I would strongly advise against purchasing from them. Because I feel that retailers can only good be deemed to be good if they are able to resolve an issue if something went wrong, not if everything was all good to begin with.

    • +1

Agreed. I rate retailers according to their after sales support, not according to how their sales department performs for taking your money.

    • Also the main reason why it's good to buy first release electronics from an Aussie retailer. That 100-300 price differential is for ~2 years statutory warranty and the pleasure of going down to a local bricks and mortar to tell them they're assholes.. :D

    • -1

It's comment-worthy but not neg-worthy. This is significantly cheaper than what you can find elsewhere as you've noted yourself, and some people will be quite happy to take the risk of an unreliable seller.

      • I disagree. Not only does the neg bring people's attention to the issue with the retailer and what they might expect should they encounter anything similar, it is also in line with the rules and regulations of ozbargain and uses of negs. It is also very relevant as warranty issues are not at all uncommon. So at the very least and by definition, this warrants "neg-worthiness" and by all means should be highlighted when buyers are forking out close to $400.

      • Also people can very well ignore my comment should choose they to do so. In which case, the comment would not be directed at them anyway. The very nature of my information is to warn those who may have been on the fence pending retailer service rating.

But based on the reviews on this seller, I am not sure if I would buy this ph. Still waiting for some local deal on LG G4.

  • +2

I can only give a warning about this seller. I bought a Nexus 5 international model from this seller last year. It came with a clunky, dodgy travel adapter and an EU plug. In the end I had to use the PayPal warranty to get my money back, because after I returned it, eGlobal got non-responsive. Definitely not worth the few dollars saved.

    • Was there anything wrong with the phone? or was it the adapter and plug only?

  • And it disappears as mysteriously as it arrived…

  • But what if you buy it and have no issues?

  • Does anybody know how to check the model number on your phone? I got a nexus 6p as a gift, I want to check if its the internation model or the US model.
