Thinking of switching from Amaysim 8GB plan to Boost

I've just moved house and reception isn't terrific with Amaysim. My current plan is Unlimited with 8GB data. 30 days.

I'm thinking about switching to Boost for the Telstra link.

Anything in particular I should I should watch out for regarding services provided by Boost?

Any other good Telstra-like providers?

There may be a referral in it for you too.

Use Boost a while for work - good value. Telstra 3G?
people commented their CS services are bad. True, as no enough staff so hard to call and need to wait. But once setup, all is automated on the phone, so no need to contact them anyway, prepaid.
only piece of advice would be not to recharge your phone before the end day of month, as it would start again from day of recharge, hence wasted the remaining day. Let the automated system does the recharge for you, try not to do manual recharge every month. No headache.
You will need a blank sim to start, either $2 from Woolies or other shops or online. Better still to buy the starter pack, sometimes they do half price for first month.

  • What phone are you using? Make sure your phone has the frequencies for your new area. Try someone's elses late model phone with 4gs capabilities, if yours is not.

Boost's $40/month plan is in many respects inferior to Telstra Prepaid Freedom's $40/month recharges (particularly once you note that Telstra credit can be used for things like Google Play apps & roaming). Check carefully before you commit to Boost that Telstra's offering isn't a better fit.

  • Thanks guys. Anyone got a referral link that needs clicking?
