  • This seems like a really good deal, does anyone know if its any good?

  • I like their wines. Don't think I've ever had a 'bad' one, and only a few 'ok' ones.

  • We've been with them for almost two years now. Hubby loves it. Also good to support the local industry. They also have good promotion from time to time.

  • I find their wines a bit average to be honest but they do have good deals every once in a while. This deal is for new customers only.

    • This deal is for new customers only.

      As mentioned above.

  • After tax (GST + WET) it's an average of $3.30 per bottle.
Then it costs around $4 for a bottle, label and stopper… maybe at the cheap end it might cost $3 per bottle.

Then they have to pay for delivery…

So basically, this wine is being sold at a significant loss.

  • +2

Their wines are ok, about what you would expect for $7 or so. Just be aware that when you sign up they will automatically deduct from your account on a regular basis which ends up being credit for more wine. It's there in the fine print, I just must have missed it and got a shock a few months down the track..

    • After some pestering from them I ordered a case of 6 reds for ~$40 delivered and was put in the angel queue. After a while I got sick of marketing emails so I unsubscribed. The website said OK but are you willing to confirm direct debit of $40/month now? I said no so I lost my place in the queue but I don't care, I don't drink $40 or more worth of wine per month. I guess one has to be careful of the fine print.

I haven't had a chance to taste the ones I bought yet. They are 2014 vintage. Some wines will improve with age. I served a couple of bottles of 2008 and 2009 from another case buy elsewhere years ago and everybody admired the depth of flavour.

  • you can get this generally for $59.99 as they bandy around different vouchers but then change the price of the wine when you log on using that code. I had a 50% off code recently. Wine is pretty average. But hey for the price, they make good gifts.

  • The wine is not good. Not for serious wine drinkers

    • At $5.40 a bottle you're not going to get pepperjacks

      • 5.40 a bottle for what though? Not only do you not know what you're getting, the only thing you know is that its "wine". You can use the $64 and put it towards at least 6 decent bottles with real reviews and ratings.

        • Unfortunately our streets are littered with somersby cider cans, not craft beer stubbies. Most people go for cheap crap when it comes to booze. At least this is slightly better than cooking wine at cooking wine price.

        • Well actually you will be told the winemaker and the variety, just that they won't be well-known vineyards. Also you do get some idea from how other subscribers liked it. Some people enjoy this kind of search.

      • You're not getting pepperjacks….these are technically more expensive according to the coupon. lol.

    • Good for jovial wine drinkers then?
