Many of us have bought the Nexus 5X in the various recent deals. I bought my black 5X in the recent JB deal after they ran out of blue stock and I must say that I'm loving it as a phone. However, I am also incredibly demanding on the battery - a few hours of Ingress with the screen and GPS on continuously, lots of data etc means that I'd love to have a charger at work and one at home.
Locally, type-C chargers, especially 3W ones, seem to be hard to come by or expensive. I have also looked around for USB-type A to type C cables to use with my existing charger bricks. However, the best I can find is cables such as these: Belkin USB 3.1 cable for $38 and Belkin USB 2.0 for $28.
The alternative is to order a $40 charger from the Google Play store (doesn't seem to let me use carrier billing or Google Rewards credit) and wait for a charger from overseas.
Has anyone found better value available locally? Alternatively, is anyone selling discounted JB gift cards at the moment?
I got the USB2 Belkin one, its good. Both charge at 3A so no value getting the USB3 one for me.
