Amiibo $10, Guitar Hero Live $79, Various Mario Wii U Titles $64ea @ Target

430

This week's catalogue has some good bargains, especially for the Nintendo fan.

Most singular amiibo figures for $10.
Guitar Hero Live for $79.
And these Wii U titles for $64 each:

  • Super Mario 3D World
  • Mario Kart 8
  • Super Mario Maker
  • Super Smash Bros Wii U

I don't know the exclusions for the amiibo figure, but I presume they are the same (or similar) as JB Hi-fi's sale. Will update if I do find some.

      he did, in the description…

  • If they had the whole range of amiibo (excl ltd ed. & unreleased or bundled w/ games) available & in stock at $10…
    * SSB: 60
    * SMB: 6
    * Splatoon: 3
    * Yoshi Woolly World: 4
    * Super Mario Bros. 30th: 2
    Total: $750. (a small fortune)

    Only in a perfect world…

    • I got them all minus the animal crossing ones.

      • me too :(

          Animal crossing ones are lame. I just wish they picked a better series/game to make 10+ amiibos out of.

        • @Ronniefromdashore: Animal crossing is very popular and has a large selection. We are getting kirby in june and more Zelda I would assume at the end of the year. Surprising no peppy or slippy. What series/game would you have wanted instead. Smash has cover most

          @Dany34: more Kong characters, more bowers (koopalings), more starfox, more pokemon or excite bike? all better than animal crossing. Animal crossing might be popular but its lame to me. mainly because i think the game is terrible.

          Zelda later this year??? havent heard anything about zelda. proof?

    great prices on some of those 3ds games too!

  • a lot of amiibo is $10 too @ JB

    • Just tried 16x to cart & it charged $40 for postage. $200 posted (equates to $12.5 per amiibo) :-/
      Good if you are buying instore & Target is OOS.
      If posted, pass…

      • you can choose to pick up in store instead can't you?

        • Yes you can, but most times having it shipped to your doorstep is so convenient in this day & age. Really depends if the deal is good enough to justify going out to buy it.

        • @grab_ur_freebies: saving $40 on postage would seem to be a good enough reason to leave the house and go to the store.

        • @gizmomelb:

          Targets click and collect is crap. They will ship your order to the store of your choice. You have to wait even if that store has stock.

          @omgitzrick:

          Targets click and collect

          If the order is large enough, does it come in a box like it would shipped to your doorstep ready to pickup instore?

        • @gizmomelb:
          Hence why I stated: If posted, pass…

        • @grab_ur_freebies:

          Sorry, this is an aside but once I did click & collect at Big W, I bought a tote bag and a sandwich press, it was so awkward carrying it out of the store as one side was so heavy lol

      • I really do find their shipping off putting if you need more than one item.

        On the other hand, the issue I have with in store pickup is there's a high chance you can't get those 16 ones all at the same store. It's a shame their system won't reallocate stick from elsewhere for smaller items like DVDs. Ordered two seasons of Game of Thrones and one True Blood this week and only one store in Canberra had all three in hand. The furthest away store too…which thankfully in Canberra means it's only 15 minutes away but still.

  • oh nice discount on the 3DS console :o

  • Went for target for Guitar Hero but they said this is from old catalogue. It's expired?? Can you have a look at the front page and post it here?
    Thanks,

  • catalouges usually start on thursdays

  • @silverrat do you know if the Guitar Hero is for all consoles or just Wii U

    • I just picked it up for PS4 so it should be for all consoles :)

    This has started early and is available now, at least online. Also does exclude Famicom ROB, Roy, Ryu, Summer Isabelle, Rover, Timmy & Tommy and Kapp'n.

    • Amiibo are labelled and scan at $10 in store too.

  • Is the rest of the catalogue available online somewhere?

    For those wondering, Yarn Yoshi amiibo figures are also $10. My local Target doesn't have it in stock, so EB Games were happy to pricematch it.

    • I wish I knew this. I saw the last one sitting there, was going to get it and check the price but since it didn't have a $10 price tag on it like all the others I hesitated. Next moment some punk squirtle squad strolled in and just grabbed it and walked off… stupid squirtle squads…
