For those who are frequently on the go, do you happen to know if AirAsia usually has sales on Malaysia, KL for peak times/holidays?
I am looking to book in late Dec/Jan/Feb, the current rates are 279 aud one way to get there excl baggage.
Historically, should I wait it out or is the price not really going to decrease much? Are there any AA price drops for peak times?

They are not as bad as other airlines with their exorbitant fares during the highest peak periods. And their 'peak' periods seem to be narrower. EG I can usually get sale fares for travel about 10 January onwards whereas other airlines seem to be tight with their fares until late January. But you need to be ready to act, and not hesitate, when they have their super sales, because their seats are limited. Limited, but available - if you get in early. No time to sit around thinking about it. Their best sales seem to be 12 months out.
It won't get cheaper. school holidays and super peak usually excluded from sales.
