  • Whatever you do keep your fuel voucher that you get when you fill the car up to drop it back to Hertz.

Twice they have added a fuel surcharge to me post drop off, even though they asked had i filled up !

Had to scan/email them proof and wait a month for a credit back to my Credit card.

I always leave it on the driver's side car seat, but take a snapshot of it before I leave. Also take time and date stamp photos of any damage to the car before you leave airport etc.

I tried to make it as dramatic as I could.

  • $5 per day off the standard rate is hardly a "great deal".

You'll almost certainly get more than that poxy amount simply by not booking it direct, but using an Airline or other affiliate.

Discounts apply to time and mileage charges only

And what the hell does that clause mean?

    • I never said it was a "great deal" but it's an ongoing one should someone need it.

  • Any better discount codes for Hertz or links through other airline or affiliate sites?

I use vroom vroom to get a price.

Do they have any coupons to cover the dodgy damage scam charges Hertz has been hitting thousands of customers with?

  • Worked for me, got $10 off my weekend rental. Thanks!
