Looking for a steam mop, budget around $100-$150. Any deals or recommendations?

I have had a couple of the cheap ones (<$100) from online deals but they seem to break after a few months. In the end we got one from Bunnings called the 'Dirt Devil' for about $100. Has been going strong for over a year now and seems ok.

    • Listed at $95 from Bunnings website

Are you in Brisbane? If so, I think I have one that you can have. My wife bought one because her friends raved about it, she used it on our kitchen - once (and it's a small kitchen) and didn't like it. Now it's a shelf ornament in the garage (unless it's already been thrown out).

Choice magazine reviewed the Kmart Homemaker steam mop ($49) at 83% at No. 1.
The No. 2 mop rated 80%, but was a lot more $$ (can't remember brand).

Yes I read the Choice review and bought the Homemaker steam mop, good value and does a good job the only problem it runs out of steam quickly and you need to refill often.

  • A bit late, but how about this?

  • I bought my steam mop from crazysales

Only took me $65; it is a maxkon, and read its review on productreview before making payment. I beg you can get a better one with your budget, although I could make do with a cheaper one.

  • hey guys, does anyone have an experience using this one Hoover Steamy Wonder Steam Mop ?

    It's on sale now http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Hoover-Steamy-Wonder-Steam-Mo…

  • Kmart's $45 steam mop is rated 3rd best by CHOICE, after Phlips' $165 and Monster's $419 ones, and 2nd best on ProductReview, after Haan's $219 one.
