[PC] Steam-Max Payne 1+2 Double Pack (90%/93% Positive) ~ $3.74 AUD-Gamesplanet UK (Maybe VPN?)

380

You will get both Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 for this price.
Both games are rated very highly on Steam at 90% for MP1 and 93% for MP2.

MP1: http://store.steampowered.com/app/12140/

MP2: http://store.steampowered.com/app/12150/

I think this is the lowest price point for these two games. So if you don't have them and enjoy a good story and some shooting, get them.
I am not sure if a VPN is required to buy from the UK site at this price. If it does not work without VPN, try using one with a UK exit node and you should be OK.

Enjoy.

Einstein was right, time is relative to the observer. When you're looking down the barrel of a gun, time slows down. Your whole life flashes by, heartbreak and scars. Stay with it, and you can live a lifetime in that split second.

Fond..fond memories of slow-mo gunfights with a 'who the hell farted' face…

Username checks out. Better give it to him.

    • If you still have it I would be grateful to have it too. Only have played them on console years ago. Also happy to trade for another game.

    • Yay please

Brilliant games. Worth every dollar :)

  • Strong storyline coupled with a fantastic linear game play.

I can replay these over and over again.

I do have 3 with all the golden guns and that you had to replay to get them all was good but not 100% max payne.

  • Can someone tell how to get these two awesome games at $3.74 AUD as when i go to the link it shows $14.99 USD..

    • VPN …try chrome extension hola or something it may work

    • That game is back to full price on gamersgate now.

      But, to answer your question:

When you want an awesome game at a certain price, you need to wait until it goes on sale. The best way is to do this is to use isthereanydeal.com (ITAD) which shows you how much each game is selling for from all the major game sites both now and in the past. Its really quite an awesome tool. I am not associated with ITAD, I just use the site sometimes.

ITAD makes money because many of the links on their site are referral links - they get a percentage or commisssion on your purchases. You don't have to click the links if that matters to you.

With a free account on isthereanydeal.com you can set up the price you are willing to pay for any game, and when a deal comes up at that price the website will send you an email telling you where to buy the game. It works. One minor problem, because the whole system is an automated cloud tool, is that sometimes games (such as this one, Max Payne) are listed under more than one title - because the game is called slightly different things on each game sellers website. ITAD actually has an active manual policy of removing these duplicates, but it is something to watch out for - if you see that a game you are looking at doesn't go on sale very often, it may because you are looking at a duplicate that is only sold by one company, and you need to track down the other title.

Hope this answers your question exactly - this is how you could get that game at $3.74AUD - just there is no guarantee of when - but the way game prices work (always going on sale, eventually always seeing drops) it will go on sale for any number you pick, some day.

  • Max Payne 1 was one of my favorite back in the day.. storyline is great. This price is a steal and i wished all games were this price.

  • Wrong store name in the title man. It's Gamesplanet not Gamersgate.

    • Thanks. Fortunately the link was right.

    Started playing MP1 again recently.

Still a great story. Hard to go back though, the graphics and AI have really dated, and the distance between save points is infuriating.

    Still awesome though.

I went back and played Max Payne recently, feels clunkier than I remembered. I guess that is what memories do to you, especially on Valkyr.

'They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark on everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger, and it was over.'

  • I think the deals finished, showing as £9.99 in both normal and UK VPN

  • Wait, there are still people in this world who don't already own these games!??
