Do Not Buy Voucher for Aroma Spice Rydalmere

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to alert every one if you buy voucher for Aroma Spices Rydelmare they are not honoring deal bought from Groupon and receiving very rude response.

Yesterday I called to order some food using Groupon voucher and I got told they are not happy to take my order because I am not full paying customer and no apology or suggest different time and top of this they hang up phone on my twice..

    • I find Groupons customer support more painful to be honest. The team form Philippines reads from a script for every interaction. At the end of a call, I just sit infuriated. Never again, groupon!

  • My understanding is the company is reimbursed in full from Groupon. Is this not the case?

      Nope, businesses who participate have to offer some a great deal of discount on their regular prices and then groupon takes 30% (or so) of that discounted amount.

      A lot of businesses sign up without knowing what this does to their business and then start dishonouring the vouchers.

        From what i know: Groupon ask the retailer to offer at least %50 of their regular price, then groupon takes %50 of the voucher price and leave the retailer with the another %50. So: Voucher worth $50 of food being sold for $25= Groupon takes $12.5 and the restaurant take $12.5. I found it very bad but still can be way cheaper compare to advertising. The issue here business are most likely to end up with bargain hunters who are only interested to go there while using the coupon instead of genuily trying the restaurant and become a loyal customer.

  • Wait, but in your other (now deleted) post you didn't say anything about them rejecting because you're not a full paying customer. You only said they claimed to be too busy to take your order right then and hanged up.

    Have you tried calling again at a different day and time?

    Yep I did that's why I am saying I called twice… Any way I have complain to Groupon let's see what they come up with
